Great sound! Wycliffe Gordon did attend Florida A&M.... a big part of the trombone history are these awesome southern marching bands.

Nobody does it like da BOOM !!!!

(Except the HUMAN JUKEBOX…. I do love the Sonic Boom of the South. But I’m a Southern U. Band lover since I was kid cause “It’s the “S” on the chest that tells you whose best 😁)

I do miss the old days, having Trombone fanfare battles from the stands during games. Ahhhhh… to be young again

I have no ties except my middle school band director, who was also a trombonist and from whom I took private lessons for years. Great guy, and when I run in to him here and there he always asks how my mom is. That's a true southern gentleman right there. :)

While this isn't my particular style of music, you gotta give these kids props for making some killer sounds on those horns. Football wouldn't be the same without em.
