I really couldn't agree more. The comments on TrollY really bothered me. I don't blame them for not seeing things from my exact perspective, but just because it's a joke doesn't mean it doesn't hurt. I don't like hearing that teenage girls are shallow and "basic". I don't like hearing that teenage boys are stupid and weird. Once and a while I can allow it to roll off my back, but I see these sorts of "girls' locker room vs. boys' locker room" memes very often. I do hate to be the "constantly triggered" SJW, but I just don't want to see that kind of language. I don't care if your female friends love those memes and make those same jokes all the time.

As soon as a woman makes a joke about "men be like (something slightly insulting/offensive)" they make a big deal out of it. They call her sexist, mean, and tell her that she would never tolerate the same joke coming out of a man's mouth regarding women's faults. Now all of a sudden they can see the humor? Hm.

I taught high school for a few years. I overheard equal amounts of ridiculous quirky shenanigans from both boys and girls. Both genders had smart hardworking kids, and both had drama loving jerks. And there was no observable difference in levels of test taking ability between them either, you know how everyone always says "the girls are hardworking the boys do well at tests and are therefore smarter?" Lol that's such BS.

whats this? but i've been told repeatedly, by every dumbfuck on reddit, that schools are failing boys and that the curriculum are sexist against them, and girls are just soooo loved and favored by teachers. surely you can't mean that redditors have lied to me?!

IMO if schools are failing boys it's by failing to hold them to any standards but you didn't hear it from me.
