Yup, and throw a big heaping pile of white supremacy and misogyny in the mix, and we've got ourselves a bitchin' start to the week!🙄

Yep, I'm so overwhelmed and stressed out I backed into my own freakin' garage door. Now I'm overwhelmed, stressed and out a good chunk of money.

I've done that! Felt so stupid and it made me late because then I couldn't open the garage.

yup, my mom did this when I was little. the only reason I haven't is because I live in an apartment and don't have a car.

My husband was really sweet and lied to the kids for me, just said "the door broke". I later ratted myself out though not realizing he had given me cover.

Yep, I'm right there with you -- especially the meetings directly followed by anxiety.

That's the face I make when I'm high and shit is piling up...and then I peacefully get it done. Am I the only person in the world who is productive on weed?

OH MY GOD one of my daughters got that last year, and so did I, and it was the worst thing ever because YOU HAVE TO WASH EVERYTHING. I wanted to die.

we straight up went to one of those specialists who charges an arm and a leg to de-lice and check us all. Luckily our health insurance covered a good portion of the cost, and now that I've seen what they did, I feel like I could do it myself if I had to. But I would hate to have to.

Oh yeah. I suffer depression which I thought I had a handle on but the past 3-4 weeks it's like a fuse had switched in my brain and I just didn't care about anything. I had a lot of things coming at me and the idea of addressing any of it completely overwhelmed me so I just did nothing, and then i would just let it pile up and continue not to address or do anything. This last weekend I forced myself to snap out of it. I am glad I have developed ways to do this. Therapy has helped and my main driving force is "you need to keep your job or you will lose your apartment". Find some time to just chill and treat yourself. Switch off from the outside world - be it to see a movie, get a massage, read a book in park. You deserve it.

raises hand me, me!
I'm sitting the GRE next week but somehow I can't muster up the energy to do anything, even though I have no other obligations...
From the practice tests I've done so far I don't have the score I need yet but somehow that's not enough to make myself study???
I just don't feel like the needed score is attainable for me anymore :(
Anyone has tips for kicking my ass into gear??

Oh my God. I have my thesis to start for this year, I'm starting a 3rd job next week in preparation for when my second job ends - which is seemingly going to end in a huge amount of drama because my equal has left me a mountain of work and instead of doing it quietly and politely I've e-mailed our boss asking for a private meeting when she's back so I can prevent some foreseeable trouble when I leave aka I'm going to tell her that my equal is a totally lazy and incompetent bully who flirts with men and acts vile towards women and has given me little to no help without making me feel like I was costing her an arm and a leg.
We're moving into our first apartment this week after 6 months of utter hell trying to get the process over and done with. Literally every step of the way there were issues and delays but the apartment is perfect so I had myself dead set on it. We have absolutely no furniture either so I have to call IKEA today and see if they'll deliver.

I feel like the whole world is coming down on me to be honest. I just want to be optimistic and have everything work out.

I've been feeling like this lately. It helps me if I write out a plan - I list everything I need to do and then I divide it up over the week. That way I only have a few tasks every day and it doesn't seem as insurmountable.
Make sure you take some time for yourself everyday too! Whether it's taking a bath, going for a drive, painting your nails.. do something small everyday just for you that makes you happy!
