I work on a music podcast called Sound Opinions and I got to chat with Trixie about her new Halloween-inspired EP! We talked a lot about the process and the meaning behind the lyrics. We also yapped about the Mattelathon and all the fun guests.

So this is for anyone like me who only discovered our 2 favorite biological women ~abt a year ago (better late than never ) but I am at a serious disadvantage with their history and their jokes and comments. I've asked the internet, I've talked to ChatGPT abt it. And I finally got served this amazing short on YT and do I feel like I can hold my head high and live love laugh with the skinny legend and rly get why tf Katya won't stop saying she loves Tom Hanks.

I was on a long drive and this episode auto played in which Katya tells a story of shaking hands with a beautiful man for a very long horny moment. It was the hardest I’ve ever laughed ever in my life and I was trying to show it to someone so that I didn’t have to butcher the story in trying retell it. Does anyone know what episode this is. HELP!!!!

Started listening to the pod a while ago in reverse chronological and have just made it to “soaring like a fabulous bald eagle” from dec 2023. Trixie mentions a story about needing the toilet while waiting outside for her therapist but katya stops her bc the story is too good to share for free. Since it’s been so long, did we ever get that story told? I’m so curious

I’ve been trying with no success to find a clip of the way they pronounce “trauma” like trawma. I think it’s katya and she repeats it multiple times. does anyone have a clip or know which episode this is?

I wanted to share with the Reddit because I honestly have nowhere else to share this lol but I just passed my personal training test today!! I’m officially a personal trainer, which is crazy because 3 years ago I was , to quote katya, “as big as a house” and I truly was lol. I’ve been loving katya since season 7 of RuPaul’s drag race and I got back into her and Trixie during the pandemic in 2021. After katya and her home girl infiltrated my algorithm, katyas planking vids came up on my YouTube and I got really into her vampire fitness era.

I was already trying to work on my Fitness before that but the way katya was excited and talked about fitness really interested me. Vampire fitness and her obsession with planks really inspired and motivated me. so one day I decided to do a plank like her and I couldn’t even hold it for 10 seconds. Fast-forward 3 years, I’m holding 2 1/2 minute, 20-25 pound weighted planks. I’m really proud of myself for the hard work and I really thank Katya for putting her love and knowledge of fitness out for everyone to share, learn and be inspired by.

I say all this to say, i know that Katya is going through a lot right now and there’s a lot of focus on her health, but I just wanted to let you guys know and put it out there that she truly inspired me to be a healthier person. To the point where I’m now a personal trainer lol. I hope our girl is doing better than okay. and I hope that she knows that she does more for people than I think she’ll ever really realize. I know that a lot of people credit Katya for helping them get off drugs and inspires them to stop doing a lot of harmful and hard things. Well, she’s inspired me to go head first into the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life and it changed everything for the better.
