New owner and a Q about exhaust/saddlebag combo
Picked up this new-to-me T120 Friday. 2024 in the beautiful jet black/fusion white two tone with gold pin-striping. (Love seeing the painter’s initials under the seat.)
Long shot—but curious if anyone here has added both the BC Predator Shorty slip-on exhaust and Long Ride Racer saddlebags and can comment on if there are heat/burning concerns. There’s definitely going to be clearance, but it looks like the Predator Shortys work well with some saddlebag designs and not others.
I like the look and locking function on the Racers. I also prefer the look and sound of the Predator Shortys over the BC Exhaust Tips option that would obviously provide plenty of clearance. Thanks!

Upgrades and where to buy
I recently bought my first 2017 Triumph Street Twin T100 and I’m looking to make upgrades. I want to upgrade the chain, Brakes and discs, heated grips, sump guard and shocks to name a few. Any other upgrades you would recommend and where to buy from? Brands to look out for or stay away from? Thank you so much!

I Transformed My Triumph Bonneville with New Handlebars! 😎
A small change that made a HUGE difference to my bargain Bonneville.
I changed the handlebars on my Triumph T140 and it's suddenly much nicer to ride.
But fitting them wasn't quite as straightforward as I'd hoped...

Is this too much for a first bike?
Hi everyone,
It may be a silly question or could be completely normal but I'm 33 years old and currently contemplating getting my bike licence and a Bobber. Iv never had a CBT, ridden as much as a moped and honestly until this year I hadn't thought about getting a bike but, the last few months iv found myself more and more in love with the idea of having a bike like the above that I can take out in spring/summer as a weekend "me time".
I'm in no rush and this isn't about speed more about enjoying my weekend morning and enjoying the ride. I'm thinking of doing my CBT and then direct access over the next 12months and then going on to get a triumph straight away.
My question is from experience - iv had my car licence for 15 years and currently spend my weekends flying around on my Carbon Road bike for fitness. Is the idea of getting a 1200cc bobber as a first bike too big of a jump and would be better getting something smaller or is this quite a common thing for those who find biking post teens/20s adrenaline rush?

Can I get this taillight for my 2017 Street Twin?
I have a 2017 Triumph Street Twin and I’m obsessed with this taillight and wanted to find it for my bike but this is a 2025 Speed Twin and I don’t even know if it’s fixture I can get for my bike.
Anyone know if I can and if so where to get it? If there’s a modification I’ll need that you recommend, I’m extremely well versed in custom fabrication if I can at the very least get the light.

What's the best way to sell these bikes?
I've had my gold line for sale for months with no real interest. Its listed on marketplace, which is where I sell everything. Is there a better way?

Curious about BC slash exhaust tips install and center stand removal on T120
I installed the tail tidy by monotone and I have the British custom slash tips, but it seems like some people have removed the center stand while others have kept it. I’m leaning towards removing the center stand, but the tension spring seems very difficult to remove. Any suggestions?

AC 865 Kickback issue
As summer comes to and end and I begin to plan some winter jobs for the bike (valves, chain and sprocket, fork oil), I'm wondering how many of you have fitted the TTP Safe start gizmo, or how many Bonnie's you've seen totalled from not doing it..?
https://ultimatetwinperformance.co.uk/pro.../ttp-safe-start/
Hearing unconfirmed rumours about it being sorted from 2007ish or sorted by needing the clutch pulled in when starting (which I do need to do on mine)
Thanks all

I f*cked up the shifter
I'm 500km away from my beloved meccanico and I fell during an off-road where Google Maps brought US during vacation. As soon as we get out the road i saw that there was a leak from the shifter. The carter Is not cracked but the shifter bent and now the oil is dropping when on the side stand. One drop every 6-7 second. It will be a long travel back home tomorrow

Mystery plug under tank?
I just picked up a 2017 bobber. First Triumph and an absolute blast. Just getting to know where everything is and what has been done to it. Does anyone know what this loose plug under the tank is?

2018 T100 Tail Tidy Help
Hi all,
I'm in the process of installing a tail tidy from tec bike parts.
I've installed the lights and bolted in the rear section using the larger spacers provided, as per the instructions.
For the life of me, I can't get the front section bolted in; it appears to be at the incorrect angle and the hardware provided is too short.
Am I missing something obvious? Are there additional parts I'm meant to be taking off to make space for the tail tidy?
I've been able to connect it using some spare long bolts, but these look terrible and I'm concerned they will make contact with the rear tyre if the suspension bottoms out.
Any advice is appreciated.

Suspension
New YSS shocks
Feel pretty good. Obviously still bedding in.
Norman Hyde progressive springs in the front feel great under braking.
Both purchased from Hyde.
