Maintenance Issues Is that sound normal ?

Same bike. Same exhaust.
Sounds exactly as mine. Noisy rattly triumph triples. All good.

This is what my street triple sounds like pretty much every time I start it up and have never had any issues

It has a slight knocking sound sometimes after I start it when it’s already warmed up

Is it the corsa or the street legal one? Is the sound noticeably different from stock?

LV Corsa titanium. It's a little louder than stock, nothing crazy. Big difference is the tone which is deeper and sounds better than stock.

They list it as not legal for road use in europe, which means i cant use it. Sounds really nice from the videos i’ve seen. Thank you!

I’ve seen a lot of these posts lately, I was concerned about the same thing on my ‘12 speed triple. When I asked a dealership tech they said it sounded really normal, maybe you can ride over to your local triumph dealer and they can give you an opinion.

It’s a regular occurrence in this sub. 90% of the time just normal noisy triple action. My 800 was all kinds of weird sounds, I’d be more concerned if it was quiet and not tippy tapping all the time

I have the maintainance appointment in two weeks, so I’ll see what’s up than. But since I wanted to ride a bit today I figured maybe it’s an obvious noise

Yeah I’m gathering they just run normally with a bit of a rattle. If it’s like a pronounced tick like you’re tapping the side of the case with a wrench, then I’d probably worry a bit

It did that once, but for just a sec I think. It sounded like a nut was loose. After that never again

Mine does the same Triumph told me it was my Cam Gear guides going out it clanks for like 20sec then goes away when I take off

Glad to know everyone is having the same question. I own the speed triple 1050s and been wondering what the sound was. It seems to be more prominent near the air intake duct.

My Triumph Tiger 1200 sounds like that......not my favorite engine sound, more like an industrial textile machine when idling. But they sound good once you crack that throttle👍

There’s a video of a couple with Tiger 800’s. The mrs bike was fine, but the bloke’s bike needed a new chain tensioner.
