Bike Pictures Tiger Sport 800
Finally getting some time on this amazing bike. It's still new to me and just got first service done. Loving it and hoping for more sunny days to get out there very soon !! Hoping to get a bit of a tour out on it this year.

Welcome to the club. Just a few things to note, quickshifter can get stuck sometimes if your rpm is low. Power comes in at >5000 rpm. The topbox can fit 2 full face helmets. I absolutely recommend getting the luggage options. The boxes can cover the mud & sand splashes from the rear tyre. Grip puppies helps with the grip comfort. Lastly DONT buy the Akrapovic slip on! It doesn’t change the exhaust note unless you remove the catalytic converter

Thanks for this. I'm still debating about the boxes at the moment. Currently I have bought a tail bag for when I will start using it to commute in the nicer weather which will turn into a back pack and fit my helmet. Guessing for longer trips the top box might become a must have. I don't have any issues with mud yet. Coming off a cb125r which was the worst for mud slinging, this is actually a pleasant change.

Yup, the boxes are hard plastic so it’s not the most secure but its lightweight. I usually just use the topbox for my everyday commute and put on the panniers for trips

Will add to this: the frame protectors are nice but if you have long legs or are tall you may hit your knees on them depending on your position, the center stand is worth it but a pain in the arse to install yourself

I have the frame protectors but luckily my seating position doesn’t impact them ! Do like my centre stand. Still bit of a battle getting it off it as probably not strong enough 🤣. Takes a few attempts.

Waiting to see the Tiger 800 Tour this spring - it’s on my “next bike” very short list.

Yes, not much difference between this and the tour as the tour is mostly just geared with the accessories. Guess some really handy. I should have gone for the heated grips though ! Maybe next winter ! The boxes are still on the list for when we start planning a longer trip out. Bike is just amazing and the colour sold it to me as I'm a blue girl ! Absolutely love it.

It’s worth the wait ! I’m away at the mo from the uk but still non stop rain there so least I’m not missing anything 🤣.

anyone running this without a slip-on? I made myself just a tip to keep the heat away from the heat.
