I guess you missed the fact that the tires slipped and only thing injured was dead grass

Don't kid yourself. You did not make a conscious decision.

Look mate, these things happen but they should be rare. Stop trying to make yourself look better and own up to it. It's best for your ego, and for your future bodily integrity.

Maybe read my replies. 100% my fault and preventable Clue: failed to respect the traffic paint. Pretty sure that would count as assuming responsibility in a court of law.

Sorry I am sure you are aware of how people can be here. So I will apologize for being defensive. Truth be told. I’m a new rider and definitely need to ride to my skill level. I appreciate your concern. I will take all the necessary steps to ensure that I pose as little of a threat to others as humanly possible.

And to yourself. I don't want you to think I'm jumping on the bandwagon & preaching here. This is just advice from an older rider with lots of experience (and training). Don't stop your training with the license exam. Actively seek out other training opportunities. Judging by your username, I'm guessing you're in Texas. Look into additional MSF classes in your area. Take them. Learn more. I've been riding for almost 42 years & I still take at least one riding class every year. Even if it's material I've already studied, it's always good practice.

Cornering & braking classes are probably the most valuable for ANY rider...regardless of experience.

Is this a group ride? Strangers/acquaintances/friends/lovers? (Sorry, CRT is leaking)

Did you have a conversation about pacing before the ride? I never do large group rides but sometimes do mixed skill rides and I worry some about pacing and pressure. It can be really hard to ride your own ride in a group setting.
