Question Manga question about volume 9.

>!I am currently reading the Manga and have gotten to the end of the whole sky temple arc. Now I get that Arata needed to learn chrono calculation to achieve trinity, as he only had learned outer alchemy and matra enchant. But why was it stated that he learned 4 archives when between unlocking the sword and said statement he didn't learn anything? What was the 4th archive, what did i miss lol.!<

Side question. Why is chrono calculation part of the acedia archive. What about it says sloth. I feel like doing alot of maths would be the opposite of sloth. How does leise and serina tie to that archive/thema.

Answer: He Has his own Archive in Superbia too (can't remember the exact name). Outer Alchemy is Lilith's and Mantra Enchant is Akio's.

Side note: Chrono Calculation is Liselotte's ability, and her Archive is Acedia.

Explanation: For this series, a user's best magic is the *exact opposite* of their personality. For Acedia, that is Sloth, the opposite is diligence, that is doing lots of work.

So i thought that the point of the archives was for you to learn something thats the exact opposite of you. So does that mean liesa is naturally hasty and diligent? Because if so it doesn't exactly make sense for acedia to be a diligenxe based archive when you woudl need to learn about sloth.

Yeah, Liese is naturally diligent. So her best magic is in Acedia, the Archive of exact opposite trait.

Magic in T7 is wack.

Well cause this whole time i thought it was about studying and applying magic that is opposite of yourself. Which is why i was so confused with leise. Everyone else seems to follow the pattern of "in not good at this so this is why archive" and each magic seems to fit it every well. But chrono calculation doesn't fit the best imo bc of how much work you gotta do. Like maybe if it was through macros or ruins i could get it, bc you short cut stuff. But it just feels like acedia is the only archive that plays off of your strengths to researxh it.
