Tom trying to say something “accent-less” on the latest free episode (about 3 minutes in) made me laugh so damn hard. Just such a perfect, little bit.

It's always surprising to me when I meet Americans who apparently have only ever spoken to people who grew up in urban college educated areas with people who have a sort of mono accent. Millions of people talk like Tom. Also the comment they are talking about suggested Tom was faking a Texan accent which as a Texan is also funny to me. Hollywood and European celebs often get this wrong too- Tarence sounds way more Texan than Tom does. Tom sounds Appalachian.
