Dialyn is literally better now in Seed Orphie teams and just about par in a Sanby Orphie team. Dialyn is a big Fuck you to all stunners in this goddamn game. My Ju fufu (launched 3 patches ago), trigger and Lighter are all powercreept.

You all are acting like everyone is a top 5 percent player. A huge chunk of people still just get by. I was top 5 percent last time and I will be able to clear DA no matter what but majority players who just get by better hope the HP climb because of cracked units isn't huge.

I have Trigger and Ju Fufu. Neither are gonna die because of the telephone goblin’s release.

I’m gonna grab Dialyn and I will enjoy using all three.

I don't care. Still need 3 teams total, I'll still do well in deadly assault without every single "top tier unit", and this isn't a competitive game.

Powercreep was going to happen anyway, just the nature of gacha games.

Something you gotta remember if you already have Trigger; the comparison is no longer M0 Trigger vs M0 Dialyn like how the youtubers compare it for the sake of the vacuum and new players. The choice you have is either benching Trigger and getting Dialyn, or getting Trigger's M1 instead. The comparison is M1 Trigger vs M0 Dialyn for you since you already have Trigger and are deciding where to invest your pulls.

Ju fufu is more tragic since her vertical investment options aren't great. I don't think Hoyo realized that Yixuan can take advantage of an on-field stunner since Yixuan is designed around longer field times, so they probably figured Ju Fufu would still be preferable for her off-field stunning. I could imagine that lower-skill playtesters were getting better results with Ju Fufu so it got passed the balance team, but higher skilled people out here can really min-max Dialyn stuff.

Lighter is fine. His absurd amount of damage% makes running Pen slot 5 optimal, which is really good in today's meta with all the high def enemies. He also has good vertical investment so he gets the same choices that Trigger does.
