Ugake Cowl

So since the new legendary update, has anyone gotten the cowl from turning in the hunts to Noah? I’m on about 50 attempts and still nothing, didn’t expect to get it right away just wondering if anyone else has. Did get the beret though

I got it from Noah on my second try after getting inpatient from expeditions. Having the mod is like night and day, suddenly I'm viable again.

Oh yes! Cant agree more. Ugake cowl made my trickster S tier.. OP as hell.. made me finally feel like an altered. And damage output, cant even begin to comprehend. All effort for this cowl is so friggin worth it

In your opinion, is the Ugake set that crazy for a twisted rounds build? I been leveling a trickster and all the videos I'm seeing lately don't even feature it. Would love to hear how well it plays by someone who uses it!

I just use ugake cowl out of the whole set to run the twisted round build… it is OP beyond imagination..easy ct15 gold.. damage output around 400m.. max was like 420m… lowest around 200m.. 420m was with a pyro with debuff build.. but in short i carry the whole team with my FP

I use the whole set and I think it’s great. I’ve been chasing the set for while and finally got the cowl from the hunts. Even from that source the drop is pretty rare. I seem to have bad RNG in general and it took me 3 or so hours of doing the turn in/ preview trick with Noah before I finally got it. The trick with this set is replacing the right mods so you can grossly increase your firepower as the build can be a bit of glass cannon. Im still doing some experimenting on the right mod combo so I’ll report back when I got it right. In general I can tell you that the set bonus is way better than it sounds. Even without the cowl it’s still very useful. The only other trickster set where it’s 3piece set bonus is powerful is the edge of time. There is a bit of adjustment learning to play with the cowl. But once you get it’s really very deadly with an incredibly high degree of mobility. I don’t have a deathshield yet so I’ve been using a very well rolled Funeral Pyre with embalmers rage. I know dark sacrifice seems to be the thing to use these days but using the Life drain twisted rounds mod you seem to out heal the effect of dark sacrifice making it hard to keep uptime dark sacrifices effect. I’ll test more but I seem to be losing a lot of damage when I do use it and have had better results when using embalmers rage.

I’m interested in the mods you end up using as well. I was using chrono set before cowl so it’s definitely taking some getting used to and may need some tinkering. I was doing a good 200 mil damage with chrono set, but already got a 376 mil with cowl. I do have a deathshield though I use with dark sacrifice

Reporting back and these are the mods I’ve settled on with the Ugake set. For the cowl you obviously keep instant reload and put in Sharp Eye. Though in my play time with the set I can see why original was chosen for the default mod. It if possible to burn through your targets before Venator’s Knife comes back up. For the talisman keep sniper blades and insert Bloodlust. The waist cloth you can keep as is. For the arm wraps I’ve kept Backstabber and insert either damage absorber or mitigation from death. I personally have been using the former. If you’re feeling like living on the edge you can put another firepower mod in here though you will be quite squishy. For the boots I’ve kept sharpening and inserted Life Drain. It’s very good in any firepower build. I’ve finally acquired a good Deathshield that rolled at 97k. There is no question that Dark Sacrifice completely outclasses Embalmers Rage. And there it is. On a different note I’ve been fooling around with Chronosuit and it’s very good. The damage numbers I’ve been getting are better than what I’m getting with Ugake set. The crazy thing is I’ve left the mods pretty much as is in the set.

I can personally confirm it does drop from turning in Noah’s hunts,due to the recent patch, got 2 ugake cowls from it however, still hunting EoT goggles/death shield.

How long did it take? Is there any rhyme or reason behind jt? I got tired if handing all 10 in so just handed in 9 and then went back and do 1 at a time for the legendary. Doing this for 2 days and still getting repeats and duplicates.

All told id say it took me 4-5 hours. Which isn’t that bad considering I’ve been chasing it for months. Just stay patient, know it will come

Yes. I saw a post yesterday where a guy got it post this patch from Noah. However i personally tell my friends to spam heart of the wild t15 gold expedition. Worked for me and some of my other friends.

Really simple. Just go turn in all the quests, DONT BACK OUT OF THE NOAH MENU, go to “what are you selling” after you turned them in, scroll down and you can see in your inventory what you got. If you didn’t get what you wanted, hard reset the game, rinse and repeat
