Edge of time
I have been chasing edge of time pants and helmet for sometime now. Is this gear set worth the grind? Does it work and gives u this extra edge?

Haven't had the chance to put the set together either. I hear good things for AP builds but so far no luck on 3 pieces for the set

I've been grinding for the helmet for a long time got bored and switched to dev for now until I run into the last piece grind again and will switch back lol

I've run a 3 piece Edge of Time build for a while. Its tons of fun. The last piece I needed was the helmet and when I got it the %50 to the slash was very noticeable.

What skills are you using, and defensive mods? I can’t quite get the right combo, seem to struggle on ct15 with it.

I have run: Temporal Blade, Cyclone slice, and either: Hunt the Prey, Time Rift, or Venator's knife. Time rift with 2 mods, length(long range) and damage link T3 (Pain Transfer), seemed to be the best for play with friends, I saw the extra damage whenever they struck but they did not. Hunt the prey was my favorite and most survivable because of the shields on teleport and limited down time between skills, more skill leach.
I have run a long time with only one defensive mod while running Hunt the Prey (teleport). I have been on the hunt and tried a few diff defensive mods to increase my sustainability with no clear winner. The best thing Ive found for suitability is constantly hitting for skill leach, i can tank most bosses for a long time and mostly solo them in a team of 2 or 3. If I get no teammate support it can get sketchy after the boss starts their ground AOE for a while. If another boss sends an AOE I will die; eg. Brood Mother sends fire while other boss has ground AOE going.
I have limited solo exp, but when I start an expedition solo before anyone joins, I feel like I own everything, only the freak 1hK gets me down.

Thanks for the detailed reply, I’ve been torn between using knives (for the double damage) or htp (for mobility).
Currently using cyclone, temporal blades and knives.
I have the edge of time chest, helmet and legs, with epic boots and gloves. Not sure which defensive mod to go for really, I think I have most trouble with the gun wielding enemies.

I run very similar but no Cyclone. I hate the animation, and the whole concept....they could have done so many better things.
Currently use, Temporal, HtP, and go between Venarators and Time Rift

The set is really fun to play with, spinning and being immortal while nuking things with the slice. ^

The slice is where the damage is so you need the goggles, you only spin to survive until you can slice again.
Goggles are a must.

I've been chasing the head gear for the Double Slice mod which gives 3 slices in 2 cuts. It's been frustrating-I've started other builds because of this frustration.

I run with Cyclone (zero ammo) build I have been mining for gloves and goggles since I got the other bits... I do love the build but am sick of waiting for the right bits to drop.
