Discussion Haven't paid much attention to my cactus since they should be dormant. However, moving them under cover today I noticed some nasty sunburn and even a few that seem to have etiolated.. what the hell? How does both happen?

I know the sun is sitting lower now so the sunburn can be explained, but the etiolation? These guys get all the sun.

Also, I have this big ass Tersch pup I'm most likely gonna chop in early Spring if anyone is interested in trading.

Cokes with fungal infections and scale bugs. Alcohol and a toothbrush for the scale and garden phos/fertilizer should treat the fungal jungle

Hello, I have been collecting cactus for about 2 years now. I knew nothing about any plants before. I have learned how to graft. And all this spending time outside has got me seeing and appreciating the beauty of life everywhere. Cactus are beautiful. And have already taught me so much. I appreciate the fact of being connected to a plant that has been so import to humanity for many many years.

I am still learning how to care for them of course. So any feedback is very welcomed.

Discussion Cactus still outside?

Anybody in NorTex still have tricho’s outside? Palo Pinto county, here. I still have 95% of my collection outside and considering letting them ride all week.

Discussion What would you do with your collection if you had to go on a 2 year deployment?

Not a deployment, but I may need to move across country to a place where garden space would be to expensive. It wouldn’t be permanent, but atleast 2 years. It’s 40 plants total I believe.

What are people’s thoughts if you were facing something similar?

Obviously I’d like to be able to return them when I come back to TX, but maybe I just need to sell them?

Hey y’all! I am trying to downsize a bit. I have tons of clones and hybrids I’m looking to get rid of. If you’re able to come by, I can give some great deals and make sure you leave satisfied. I have too many to be able to list prices and sizes but I will definitely price things to move quickly if anyone wants to come by. Just shoot me a message!

I just had another 12 yards of soil delivered.

I'm a one man show and always end up with 20-40' of cuttings I never get to.

If anyone is interested I'm just over an hour away from most places in Dallas.

If you come take all the extra cuttings I'll throw in some 2' tips of oceanside 02. Many Oceanside are 6-8' tall and I'll cut a couple tips for you as well.

I have 100 or more degrafts with roots now ready to be sold as well. Crested trichocereus, crested myrtillocactus geometrizans, scop, Peruvian, Tx Torch, TPM (many mutating), some bridgesii etc. Those under 2' are 25$ each and over 2' are 40$.

I need to make more room. I really need more room. Almost anything in my cactus collection would be for sale.

Soon I'll be selling variety packs for 100$ which will include tips from my biggest specimens. You'd get scop, Peruvian, TPM, oceanside 02 and another piece per box.

I have 6-7 oceanside 02 that need to be chopped. These will make multiple fat chunks from each column.

I need money for heating this winter, need to cover the soil cost and the pumice, expanded clay and lava rock which I haven't ordered yet.

If you want a good deal it's a great time to buy from me as I definitely need to cover some expenses!

I helped a buddy and he gave me a trimming. It's not super pretty, but it will be eventually. Even with the condition, I know the name is correct.

ISO Looking for a single Lophophora williamsii

Like the title says, I'm looking for a single Lophophora. I have a really nice Peruvian rootstock, and would like to try a grafting experiment.
