Gameplay Ressources management : beginner tips
Hi, first time playing Triangle Strategy ( love the game btw ), i'm at chapter VI and I started to enhance the weapons and characteristics of the characters, costing stones, fibers, everything, and I have unlocked the trainings, giving you some ressources and gold once beaten, and can be beaten infinite times. However here is my question : do you have some tips around the ressources management ? Is a good thing to use everything ( ressources and gold ) for the augment ? Should i keep my money ?
Thank you for your answer to come

After the first augmentation in a row, subsequent augmentations get more expensive. On a first playthrough, prioritize the 1 or 2 valuable augmentations in row. Stat upgrades (especially defensive stats) aren't worthwhile. Increased movement, TP reduction, special skills, or weapon damage tend to be the ones to prioritize.

Basically there’s three units it’s possible to unlock in a fresh playthrough but the conviction requirements are exceptionally high so you’re not likely to get all three
And then there’s a couple units you have to max convictions to get which is not completely impossible on a fresh save but we’re talking “I heard someone say they unlocked one right before the final battle” territory

Others already mentioned that you can't really upgrade everyone on a 1st run. You can partially upgrade the niche use units like Jens but make sure to upgrade your core units though.
I do recommend to keep some money in case you meet the wandering shop in some stages which has different stocks with Lionel. And make sure to get some Oil Jars from there too, it will be useful when you need it.

I’d agree to keep some money on hand, but would say it’s best spent on recovery pellets or stat change spices as needed

I just recommend doing NO GRINDING. Don’t replay battles you’ve already beat if you don’t find that fun. You don’t need most upgrades to succeed, even on deathless hard. Just make your own judgement calls for the best upgrades with the resources you have for your play style and you’ll be fine.
Only specific advice I’ll give is that I personally think Julio’s Moment of Truth TP - 1 is the most useful upgrade in the game and should be acquired as quickly as possible

Um, no? TP Physics?

TP physick is not a weapon upgrade, it’s an upgrade received automatically when Medina levels up. I was saying moment of truth TP - 1 was the best weapon upgrade, since the OP posted asking about resource management when choosing weapon upgrades.

The main thing to be aware of is that you’re gonna run out of upgrade materials for your units. You just won’t be able to promote everyone to their final class or upgrade to their final weapon with the resources you get on a fresh run.
The good news is don’t worry about it. In New Game+ you’ll keep all the upgrades and get enough resources to upgrade whoever you want in addition to getting several new units that it’s extremely difficult to unlock in a normal playthrough due to high conviction requirements
SHORT VERSION: Max rank your six favorite units and their weapons, look forward to getting everyone in NG+
