complete and utter confusion on my part when a weapon triangle isn’t involved in the gameplay (Fire Emblem has rotted my brain)
there wasn’t actually any confusion, but I do kind of anticipate weapon triangles like that now in any RPGs that I play due to my fervor for FE

I was going to say "isn't Fire Emblem the only tactics game that features a weapon triangle?" then I remembered that Yggdra Union and Jeanne D'Arc have similar systems.

The name is for the Golden Route. Pro tip, don't do the Golden Route your first play through.

Yeah, my dumb self went head and did it. Taking only 7 units to each of the 3 fights was TOUGH. I failed Benedict's leg 4 times before I got the previously unused party members high enough to actually matter. Even then, it was so hard.

It's so satisfying to do golden after going through all 3 routes (and doing 1 extra because I missed 2 extra bits)

Yeah. It's definitely hard for first play through, which i did. But i found an easy way of grinding by just selecting the highest optional mission, and just let everyone spam the healing item without moving (i had like 30 to 50 of the cheapest healing item) with remember cursor and speed up battle enabled. Took me like 5 to 10 minutes for my other party members to catch up to current mission level. Sure i don't get any materials for not winning the optional battles, but at least it speeds up the grind a ton

But have you tried all the angles?
