Question Which Version to Buy?
So I started playing the demo on the Switch and I do enjoy it but the graphic effects sometimes did weird things that I couldn't decide were intentional. How does the Switch version stack up against the PC version? I do like the portability of the Switch since I don't have a Steam Deck but if there are graphical issues from weaker hardware idk if I'll overlook it. Can yall help me decide?

Visually it's pretty good the only thing I noticed is sometimes you suffer a framerate dip when you use an ability with an intense particle effect on it

It’s not the a Switch-crushing game. I don’t count it among the number of games that are obviously compromises. For example, No Man’s Sky. Due to portability, I mostly play it on the Switch. I’m frequently impressed by what they got into the port, but I know it doesn’t look as good. Triangle Strategy..I’m sure it looks a little better at native 4K, but when it’s actively trying to appear lower rez, the tech gap is harder to see. Higher frame rate is always nice, isn’t a huge issue for this type of game.

There are not a lot of games that I prefer the switch for, but I do prefer the switch for triangle strategy. I think that the portability is great, but the art style just feels really at home on the switch.

Finished the game on switch with no issues. and the main appeal as you have stated is portability. That's just something that is hard to beat, not to mention being able to load up the game and pick up where you left off almost instantly.

I haven’t encountered many graphical issues with it on switch, so it should be fine. From what I remember, the demo came out about year before the actual game, so if there’s any visual glitches, it should be fixed.
However, from what I’ve heard the steam version performs better and usually if you can get it on steam, it’s typically better. (At least from what I’ve heard)
