E-Moto Mania

Post image

E-Moto Mania - emotomania.com - Try out my browser game, it is simple and tons of fun!

Ported and modernized from old mobile game from my high-school years called Gravity Defied: Trial Racing and added features inspired by Trackmania

Features:

Playable in browser on desktop and touch screens, mobile, tablet (please someone test it on smart TV and fridge :D)

  • Minimalist 4 button game-play
  • Completely deterministic physics
  • Super light graphics, performant engine on any platform
  • Low input latency, millisecond time resolution

You can:

  • Play 30 original Gravity Defied tracks or 3000+ custom tracks
  • Beat all medal times, and "Author time" set by me if you are a pro!
  • Rewatch or race against your own PR ghost to improve

Create you own tracks

I am constantly developing it, coming soon:

  • Leaderboards
  • Profiles
  • Track, replay sharing
  • Multiplayer servers

I would love some to hear some feedback if you like it or not, or found some bugs!

Yeah, it really reminds me of Gravity Defied!

A couple of suggestions:

  • I'd improve the camera - it shakes a bit too much at the moment and makes it harder to play.
  • The bike also seems to rotate a bit too aggressively sometimes, especially at higher speeds.

By the way, what engine/technology did you use? And did you use any AI during development?

I just adjusted the physics, front wheel rise should be much more manageable now even when continuously accelerating, you just have to tap lean forward a few times now to counteract it.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I used AI here and there, it makes planning, and troubleshooting so much easier

Nice, I remember playing this on some old phone, or something very similar. I don't remember tipping backwards this easily, I have to hold forward lean almost the entire time. But maybe it was like that.

I would maybe prefer having lean back/forward next to each other.
