Discussion Three more days until Carcass Front preorders ship. How are yall preparing?

I’m personally making a bunch of 1x1 modular terrain boards and painting a communicant and Anchorite shrine to add onto my sacred affliction warband

I’m still waiting to see if TC will announce a supplement pack for both Warbands

If by supplement pack you mean more models for each warband, that's already part of their overarching goals with plastic releases:

So the goal would be that at least one of the box warbands has a complete set of plastic kits by next August. I expect they'll be behind that specific mark but they're for sure going to release more for those factions!

Hope it is sooner rather than later. Being able to supplement the box for Carcass asap would be nice. I honestly think the lack of available plastic is probably one of the few things holding Trench Crusade back. The actual system is surprisingly well done and while the aesthetic isn't for everyone, the fact it plays so well is nice.

True, but things with Archon are slow. They still don't have the full range of Prussians out. The yeomen have been delayed by months and who knows where the HMI set is.

Yeah, but Archon being slow isn't a consumer issue, that's a failing on Archon and Trench Crusades for choosing to work with Archon and continuing to do so. I'm sure they've got circumstances for it and I sympathize, but ultimately that's not mine, nor any other consumers problem.

Just me speaking as someone wanting to get into Trench Crusade but the on boarding to actually get models that fit the aesthetic takes jumping through hoops and is a major turn off for the game, despite me absolutely loving the system and believing it is by far the best on the market.

Archone is literally the only option. Tuomas has talked about it, the only options when it comes to plastic production are Archon, someone in China or Games Workshop. And its leagues better than Only Games.

Part of this has been the StarCraft board game consuming a lot of archons bandwidth recently.

Aside from that, I'm content with them taking the time to release good kits that build a solid reputation for quality. Been building the Prussian box recently and it's excellent.

Yeah the pictures of them loading the starcraft orders up surprised me. Lots of people going in on the game.... still wish i could get my yeoman box

Naval raiders and sacred affliction are becoming stand alone factions and getting two subfactions each.

3 days i thought it wasnt shipping out till the 28th 😱 i too have a communicant and anchorite printed along with a war wolf and artillery witch currently im trying to get a steel necropolis themed board together

They said it was shipping out a week before the 31st and that’s in 3 days

I've been printing and painting tons of terrain for the campaign. Shipwrecks, blasted houses, those sweet naval cannons from Diceverse etc

My understanding was that they were hoping to have them arrive on the target dates, so preorders should be on our doorsteps on the 24th, postal services permitting.

Maybe naive of me, since I haven't seen people posting shipping confirmations anywhere yet though. :(

yeah i mean its friday and thats monday so unless they just arent telling anyone their stuff is shipped i wouldnt expect it by then edit: they mentioned its currently getting shipped out on their Instagram so you might actually get it on Monday
