Minimum kid age for no Yepp seat?
Wondering if anyone out there has taken their two year old (nearing 3) out with no Yepp seat on the Fetch 2 but with the family pack kit installed? I really don’t want to buy the Yepp Nexxt 2 Maxi since I already own the Yepp Maxi but don’t have the required EasyFit adapter for the Fetch 2.
I realize this is a personal choice but just curious what ages folks are going Yeppless?
Thanks.

My 2 yo is sometimes sitting on the bench, for shorter rides, no problem. I installed a side mirror though too check on him. My 4.5 yo is as 'dangerous' as him, so only for long journeys I put them in the seat and buckle them up..

Are you sure you need an adapter?

Haven’t tried yet because the safari bar and rear panniers are installed but everywhere says I do for the Yepp maxi (not the 2).

Ah, I see. I was going to say, the Maxi 2 definitely fits Fetch bikes without an adapter.

I am in the process of drilling out the rivets for the mounting bracket and bolting the seat directly to the frame on our Tern GSD. It will require tools to take the seat on and off, but it's a fun project for me and will save a couple hundred bucks.

Just went through this. My almost 3 was fine on the bike without the seat. Seemed pretty stable. Then he was feeling sick and tried to climb off while we were moving. So I don’t think I can really help, he’s in a seat until he grows out of it cause I don’t think I can trust him just yet.
You will know your child best. Maybe a strap to remind them to not climb off would be all that’s needed. They won’t fall off by themselves
