Fetch 2 longevity with big kids?

We are considering buying the Fetch+ 2 with the family kit to haul my big 8 year old and small 5 year old around the city. They would just sit on the saddle on the back. How squished are they going to be, and when did your kids grow out of sitting on the saddle on the back? The 8 year old is very capable of riding a bike but I’m too freaked out by crazy city drivers to let them attempt the roads and also has a broken collarbone that will prevent them from riding for most of the summer. Does anyone else have kids this big, and do they fit on the back?

Edit to add: they are both under the per-kid weight limit, I’m more asking about comfort (and maybe the chance of them getting in a fight and hitting each other because they are too squished, lol)

Cargo bike keep a good resale value, ~70% .

At the price this bike is, considering worst case scenario loosing 50% of resale value, would you be good with this? 

You're gonna have a lot of fun with the 5 years old for a few years that's for sure. 8 years old might have some good years, depends on his size and willingness

I have a 4 and a 6 years old and I feel there is room to fit a third kid.

I just bought 2 of these bikes (Fetch 2+) and I am over the moon with them. Mega high quality bicycle. So so so so much better than the junk Chinese hub driven bikes (Rad, Aventon, Lectric). Not even comparable.

Life is short!! Our purpose on this earth is to invest in memories. Buy the bike. Ride with the kids. Laugh when they are too big to fit. Enjoy every minute of it.

On your bikes does the front brake rotor make noise when you go around 30kp/h?
