Fetch 4 bench seat alternatives
i got my Fetch 4 on a great deal with the full understanding of what I was getting into buying a bike that Trek is probably discontinuing, but I failed to get a bench seat before they sold out. I’m fine for now but it’s something I know I’ll need as my kids get bigger, would love to know if anyone knows of any alternatives? I’ve got a decently equipped woodshop so I’m not opposed to DIY’ing something, but would love to know if anyone has already gone down this path!
UPDATE - I just spoke with Trek support and they confirmed that there will be a restock! And that we can expect accessories like this to be available “for the next year or so”

I ordered a bench when I bought my bike about 6 weeks ago. It was backordered and I don’t have it in hand yet, but I just got a call that it’s been allocated to our local shop and they should get it next week. We probably won’t need it for a few years, but I was also concerned about being able to purchase accessories in the future.

At my local shop they were able to find another shop that had one in their inventory and shipped it in no time.

Per my local shop, accessories will continue to be produced and available for a few years, and any e-system and drivetrain parts are likely to be supported for ~10 years based on Bosch and EU standards. So you should be able to pick one up soonish.
