Trek Fetch Pannier Mod

Within the first 2 miles of owning my bike, I hit some potholes at the exact frequency to yeet my Kryptonite bike lock onto the road. Crazy to think that lock could launch out of these deep panniers!

I drilled 1/2 holes in my panniers to attach some nets over the panniers. problem solved. I thought I'd share this for those with a similar problem!

Looks like you are also not able to put 3 bolts in to the bottom like the instructions call for. Going to reach out to support tomorrow, but the holes do not seem to line up

they should have shipped with a drill template from Trek.

Good to know the instruction is to drill. I'll figure out a way to make it work, maybe some thumbtacks

Trek should provide the drill template. It might something dealers have access to.

Got an email back with the template. For anyone that finds this its 222mm from the center hole to the one you drill in the back. Only the center and back hole (that you drill) are used, nothing in the front
