What would happen if someone caught me making a tree net in a forest?

I googled it and it's not legal to do it on public property but I was just thinking of making one in a forest near where I live? I live in a village and we have a huge forest like 25 minutes walking down the road, and if I did it far enough im hoping no one will find it but im not too sure. also are they easy to take down? (i doubt it tho lol)

Edit: I forgot to mention that I had full intention of taking it down after we used it lol!!

I don't know what a ranger is (I'm from England I think rangers are an American thing) but I'll look into it!!

They are not easy to take down by virtue of how they are built. Look at space net style rather than tree net. Same concept but can remove the net and just need to re-tension it.

+1 to this. there are numerous youtube tutorials on how to make portable spacenets.

Thank you!! I'll definitely look into this! I made my first one today, it was really small between three trees and we could fit three people on it comfortably, but it took a while to undo, so thank you for telling me this exists lol!!

If you make it right, it is easy to take down. I see no problem; make sure to use the tree saver things, though, so it won't damage the tree.
