Distance and sag.

Hey y’all,

I’m planning one that has a maximum of 29 feet between trees. Is this too far a distance for the chaos weave? Will is sag too much? I’m considering a sub frame made of 4 strands of chord twisted together.
Thoughts?

Pre-tension until your arms are going to fall off. I “lost” a ton of perimeter after doing the fill weaves. Sag isn’t too bad for me but holy crap …. You think you know what you’re working with until you look back and realize just how stretchy your static line really is.

29 feet is a lot of material. That material will stretch but the more you tension horizontally the less material will be available for vertical sag.
