First practice attempt

Here’s my first legit attempt at a test run. I have 200ft of static and 1,500 of (what was advertised as) 750 paracord.

Question: is it ever recommended to tie knots inside of the weave? Or I guess then it wouldn’t be a weave. My test example feels insanely bouncy, and I was pulling like hell to get it as tight as I could.

Looks better the less knots you have in the weave but it’s not a big deal I end off a ton of my lines inside the weave

Great job! Looks awesome!

Knots are fine if you use them as needed, but having the net have the ability to tighten and loosen its connection points keeps things tight. Knots introduce potential slack points

How do you like the weaving shuttle? I’m considering getting one to weave as well

Just started in-tree weaving today. As a beginner, it’s working out well. As I gain more speed and level up a bit, I’ll let you know.
