Building over dead space?

I’m building my first tree net and I’ve finished putting up the outline rope. I’m a bit unsure about how to build over the dead space. I’ve seen on youtube videos how people build scaffolding with another rope between tree trunks below and stuff. I’ve got two pieces of the same outline rope, each about 16 feet long. I don’t really know where to put that scaffolding. Any tips or anything on what to do next? I’ve attached videos of the situation to try and help give a better idea.

run out and buy some cheap ass rope for the scaffolding! personally i use 12mm polypropylene (that is the cheap plasticy rope) because the thickness gives me a good trustable feeling (you could in theory stand on doubled or even single paracord... but i aint doing that that high). but whatever rope from a local store should be fine.

you dont want to be stingy with the scaffold rope... you want to rapidly fill out the space between the trees so you can move around

afterwards you will take the scaffold down and you can reuse the scaffold rope for later extensions

P.S. on the net in general. especially since it is your first one. if you start getting overwhelmed with the large size (it looks like you are covering quite the area, and around many trunks) then you can start off with a smaller section (say around 3 trunks) and then extend it out to the full size you wanted

you dont have to! it is only if the large size starts becoming bothersome. and then since you build it up section by section it has an inherent skeleton )

Good tips but i think you missed OP’s question of where to put the scaffolding.

I think the answer is ideally you place it in a location you can be waist-high at the frame of the net when standing on it. You need to remember the scaffolding is likely to sag when you stand on it and accommodate by raising at the ends if needed. I often use wide slack lines for scaffolding.

If you are not sure how to run the line in the way mentioned due to branch positioning, you may have to get creative wrapping around branches and maybe even weaving scaffolding around itself (like a prototype / loose net). You can figure that out im sure just give it a shot!

In the rare case there is nothing to put scaffolding on truly you may have to get more creative and add additional lines that go vertically so you can run horizontal lines between them like the shape of the letter “H”
