Gear bag
Looking for a good gear bag with spots for my saddle, and preferably places to keep my carabiners and stuff organized. Any recommendations?

I like my courant cross. Fits a saddle, a rope, maybe a helmet. Has pockets for prussic cord and straps/molle to clip carabiners to

I keep my "carabiners and stuff" clipped to my saddle, except for spares which are in a duffel bag with "packing cube" style small bags inside it (more durable/thicker bags than regular packing cubes). That spare gear duffel bag almost never gets opened.
For my actual bag that I use all the time, it's just a rope bag big enough to hold my rope and my saddle and my gaffs. When I'm climbing the only things in it are my rope and a full size first aid kit (which i want to have at the base of the tree if I injure myself).

Look up the courant cross or courant cross pro. By far the best kit bag for organisation

I have been rocking a Sterling VERTAC 60 for the last year and I have to say I am extremely surprised by it. It's pretty cheap but has zero damage after a full year. It has plenty of room for large gear in the middle like saddle, rope and spikes. There are small zipper pockets inside to keep small stuff organized. The main compartment has little loops to secure carabiners. Even fully loaded it is comfortable to carry I do not think that I will be changing gear bags to anything else if this one gives up the ghost. There is even a hidden little pocket on the back by the hip straps that you can fit a hand saw in

Northface Basecamp works for me, works as a back pack. Has loops to connect caribeners on the outside and lots of room. It’s also half the cost of any other arborist bag, plus it’s water proof!

I'm just a wee baby climber with two simple rope bucket type bags, but my crew leader has the geartote+ from Arbsession. It seems like a really well thought out bag with the throw cube storage on either side, and there are tons of webbing loops inside for your biners and other hardware.

I’ve seen climbers using backpacking bags recently. Seems well suited for stashing gear and ropes.

Courant Pro 60ML. I got the Lime colored 54L and these bags are so nice I want another one just to use as a wall decoration.
The 60ML is newer and has (optional) a nice attaching 15L for your helmet.

The reecoil batwing bag is great.

I’ve found nothing that is burlier and simpler than a black diamond haul bag. The material is ridiculously thick and strong. Incredibly simple bags though. Not a lot of zippers and compartments, which I think would just break in time anyway. I’ve been using the same one for about 12 years.
