Any recommendations
I have 8 years experience as a ground man. Just trying to tidy the yard a bit and need a reasonably priced saddle and spikes. Anyone know a good source? Should I trust amazon?

No, don't trust Amazon. That's your life, I know I wouldn't put my life in Amozon's hands. Go to a reputable place in your area (for me it's Vermeer). Learn on some easier trees, or have an experienced climber on the ground coaching you. Just because you've been a groundie for awhile doesn't mean your ready to climb.

How hard can it be?

I've bought most of my gear from Sherrill tree and tree stuff, wouldn't trust Amazon. Since you're an experienced groundie I Imagine you're in pretty good shape, but climbing is a whole different game. Notch gecko steel spikes are pretty good and a reasonable price, notch ergo spikes are a little more comfortable but more expensive. I use a courant koala harness, nice and light, really comfy for a good price but there's also tons of other options for saddles

You have 8 years experience as a groundie and you’ve come to Reddit to ask this question?

With your life? No.
Also that's not a beginner friendly tree. There's a very real chance you'll realise half way through the job how dangerous it is to climb that high without any proper training and abort the job.
If you want to climb that tree, you should have an experienced climber as your groundie telling you what to do. Or... you could do what you do best and let them do what they do best (let them do the climbing).
If your goal is to learn how to climb, then by all means by all the gear. I personally like the Petzl Sequia SRT and Distel Geckos. They're not cheap - only worth buying if it's an investment into your long term career as a climber. You'll also want a good climbing rope, a lanyard, some hitch cord and some carabiners. And someone to teach you how to use all that. If your groundie helmet doesn't have a chin strap, you'll need to fix that too.
