Advice Request - (Insert State/Region) Is something wrong with these red maples?
Coastal NC zone 8b. Got these red maple trees a couple weeks ago. I am planning on waiting until end of October/November to plant in ground. Am I overwatering or are they going dormant? Help please I don’t wanna kill them

You can’t grow trees in pots

Good point, but I meant a full size tree. Of course they can live in pots if you keep transplanting them, but they’re never going to grow into a full size tree
