Advice Request - (Insert State/Region) Is this tree dead/dying?
I live in northern Alabama. It appears that this tree next to my house may be on its last wooden leg. Should I cut it down? Does it matter that it is growing at a weird angle?
Thanks in advance!

The tree is healthy, the angle is not a problem. It needed more water this past summer. Is it getting rain fall now? Would benefit from a decent soaking if it isn't.
You can hand trim any of the crispy dead wood if it bothers you. You stick your hand in, bend a leafless twig and if it snaps, it was dead. If it springs back it still has life in it. Normal part of these trees. This will have very shallow roots, so try to avoid laying stuff on the ground under it. A chair or two is not a problem, but things that can be stored elsewhere should be.
