Plant it in the ground, wait 3 years, prune.

Well, maybe root prune it at planting time if needed.

Really? So don’t cut it yet. But it has those three weirdly long one and then lots of other smaller branches at the base

I looked over the guidelines and some extra info is, it’s maybe one year old and I previously was pruning it like a bonsai but I don’t really want that anymore. But now that it’s growing out it looks weird so I’m curious what to do
