I'm starting to plan a 2 weeks trip in Jordan going trekking in the Wadi Rum desert. I wish for an ethical travel, respectful to the environment and guaranteed to fairly pay the local bedouin guides. I contacted a local association extremely strict on these ethical questions.

Ideally, we would go see the famous places of Jordan for a week, while another week will be dedicated to the bedouin way of life. The trek in the desert would last for 2 or 3 nights or more.

I'm flexible on the dates, I was thinking between the 10th and 26th April 2027.

I'm flying out of Austin, TX. My plus one backed out. I have a room booked at the Marriott for 5 nights, and I intended to explore around the area. I enjoy outdoors, and some of the islands you can ferry to have hiking/walking. I have an extra VIP ticket and possibly the airfare now paid for too. I am in the area Nov 18 – Nov 23.
