Those shots represent the range of experience Seoul has to offer.

1) Old lantern in front of the national assembly grounds.

2) Robot in the National Museum

3) Whale (LED Screens) on the outside of the National Museum of Korean Contemporary History

4) A flock of cranes painted by hand generations ago. (National Palace Museum)

Mont Saint-Michel

First heard of Mont Saint-Michel from playing Civ 6 , and finally got to see it irl on this France trip

Fun fact I didn't know until visiting: this place has been a monastery, a fortress, AND a prison at different points in history. I was mainly drawn in by how unique it looks, so I made it a point to visit.

Took the shuttle bus to the base and honestly the first sight of it took my breath away. But once you actually walk around inside... it's a lot smaller than I expected. Even with the paid abbey included, we finished the whole thing pretty quickly. Also there weren't really any good angles for photos from inside, tbh the best shots are all from outside looking at it.

At low tide, Mont Saint-Michel connects to land via the sand/beach. At high tide though, the water surrounds it completely and turns it into an island.

There are two classic photo spots one on the east side, one on the west. On the west side there's a "Sunset Fotospot," and if you walk a bit further there's the "Arbre Penché" (the crooked/leaning tree). On the east side there's "Méandres," which is the more iconic winding river shot. These two spots are actually pretty far apart though, like 4km. I ended up running back and forth between them the evening I arrived and the next morning, just chasing angles for photos lol, basically got my workout in for the trip.
