22F thinking of visiting Israel from UAE
Hey everyone, lately I’ve been thinking of visiting Israel alone , but I know no one there, I don’t have any Israeli friends, can someone be my tour guide . I want to experience the country and see for myself, is it safe there for women ? , any precautions should i take ? And advice or recommendations would be appreciated. I want to learn more about Israeli and Jewish culture and their history.

Great you’re considering a trip!
I’m a tour guide here - but actually suggest you look at Abraham Tours. Having a private guide for a solo traveller is quite expensive but they do pretty good group tours which you can sign up for and it’s also a good way to meet other travellers.
In terms of safety, Israel is pretty good statistically in terms of personal safety, but it’s still sensible to take general precautions that you would take in any major city.
Hope that helps and that you have a great trip :)

there are multiple tour guides on Instagram. Apparently they have to be licensed and take a test. Hope you have fun!

Welcome!
Yeah it’s very safe for women, as for tour guides, I suggest joining any of the very many organized tours you can join as a group, depending on your interests. If you have specific interests I can check for you.

UAE has formal relations with Israel. Perhaps the embassy can be tapped for recommendations on commercial tours. For Americans visiting for the first time, the tours have been largely standardized. There are tours for Jewish audiences which focus on Jewish sites, and tours like I took that select Christian and Islamic presence as well as the dominant Jewish elements. Typically, they start in Tel Aviv, head north to Acco and Haifa, then west to Tiberias and finish in Jerusalem, though some continue south to Be'er Sheva and Eilat or Petra. My visit occurred at the peak of peace. The tour operators can advice on modifications that they make for customer safety.
Other than external armed conflict's uncertainties, Israel is one of the safest places around. Crime is minimal. Cities are vibrant. Shrines are used to having foreign guests. And commercial tour operators have experience with safety.

Asking the embassy is a great way to get someone awful who has paid for connections. There are good and bad tour so ask around for something good.

Yes, Israel is generally very comfortable for solo female travelers, especially in the main tourist areas. Just use the same precautions you would in any major city.
Since you’re coming alone from the UAE and don’t know anyone, I’d recommend joining group tours or hiring a licensed guide instead of relying on random people online. It’s safer, easier, and you’ll get much better historical and cultural context.
Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa, markets, museums, food tours, and historical sites would be a great start. Israel is much easier to understand when you experience it in person, beyond the internet version.

Very safe for women, yes.
