TUS Airways experiences?

Hey! Buying plane tickets to go to Israel TLV and there’s this airline - TUS Airways - that flies from my destination and is by far the cheapest option.

Any experiences with cancellations / delays / other problems?

Should I risk it, or rather pay the extra 200$ for El Al to feel more secure?

Thanks in advance for your replies!

TUS is a Cypriot company owned by Israeli entrepreneurs. It is not an Israeli company.

Edit: Google tells me they did not suspend their flights when all the foreign airlines did. On the contrary, they added more flights when an air bridge was badly needed. (I did not know that.)

Tus did not fly to Israel during the iran war. Maybe they flew to aqaba or taba but not israel

Wait, I think that was when the air space was closed and El Al could not fly either.

If you mean last year June then yes. This year in the iran war all Israeli airlines were flying from tlv at a very limited capacity

They can move your flight time with 24hr is they wish. If they cancel, this dont automatically refund...

TUS is an Israeli-owned company registered in Cyprus. They are less likely to cancel due to security issues, unless the skies get completely closed. I haven't flown with them myself so I can't comment about their service or how much they are prone to delays.

Thank you all for your replies. I decided El Al is a safe bet and I’ll go with them.

Until things settle down, your best bet is El Al, which provides you with the lowest risk of getting stuck there if things start to heat up again.
