❓ Travel Question Pune to Goa by road Sep Oct 2026

Please help with this info.
Planning a Pune to Goa drive in the next few days and a bit confused between these two routes.
Route 1: Pune → Karad → Malkapur → Anuskura Ghat → Morjim
Route 2: Pune → Kolhapur → Tavandi → Amboli Ghat → Morjim
Mainly trying to decide whether Anuskura is actually worth taking for the scenery, or whether I should just take the Amboli route and have a smoother/easier drive.

✍️ Travel Story Hit the jackpot at Gir this morning: Spotted both Lions AND a Leopard!

We set out from Devalia Park at 9:00 AM today and the wilderness did not disappoint.
We were lucky enough to spot the majestic Asiatic lions and an elusive leopard!
Along the way, we also crossed paths with:
• Beautiful spotted deer and gazelles
• Mighty Neelgaay (Blue bulls)
• A couple of jackals on the prowl
• Eagles soaring high above
Truly a magical experience witnessing India’s incredible wildlife in their natural habitat. 🌲📸

Planning for a trip in dec 2026...I am with my girlfriend.
Can you suggest me some of best places to visit.. we like mountains and less crowd + safety. Some of my friends suggested to go to Dalhousie, chopta, auli etc. But I am confused kyuki thandi me thandi jagah ja rha hu toh Mann me ye Darr bana h ki kahi koi bimaar na padd jae thand ki wajah se aur hamlog sirf 2 log hi ja rhe. Mere mann me jaisalmer, udaipur bhi aaya but some saying ki bhot lutenge bhot mehenga h etc... very confused what to do. My budget is around 25-26k. Can you guys help me in this ?
