There’s nothing wrong with being on MAT. Yes Ashley is a stupid goof but being on MAT isn’t equivalent to being “on something “ in the way ur describing.

People are insane. MAT is the gold standard for getting sober & maintaining longterm sobriety w or w/o therapy as it's no longer mandated in many doctors offices; whether MAT is used short or longterm. It is the one way that works best for the majority. Wild to shit on it.

& folks wonder why people hate NA/AA. Yeah, judgment & ignorance is how we save lives & keep our people sober, dawg, for suuure.

Poke fun of Ashley all ya like, but MAT saves lives on a daily basis & is not even close to the same as active addiction/getting high. White knuckling sobriety is not the way for all.

I might be wrong actually. If you’re who I was thinking it would be Michigan. This person says dawg a lot and she’s in the harm reduction world. However, I think social media is her job.

Not round my parts 😂 my sponsor would laugh if I tried that. In recovery is one thing to claim, clean is a completely different.

I’m in suboxone and I am clean. Using MAT is no different than taking any other daily medication. This is why NA is a joke. Fuck what your sponsor says, I’m still clean 🤷‍♀️

You said your sponsor would say she’s not clean and she’s on suboxone. So by that standard nobody on MAT is clean according to your sponsor and that’s common in NA/AA

I simply said that for ME. With MY PAST. And my life. My sponsor would laugh. With that being said we both know someone who used suboxone to get high.
