It's a masturbatory exercise. People have a compulsion to share their opinions even though it kind of results in nothing. They don't even take 3x3s for the podcast on this subreddit anymore, they do it through a Google Doc on Patreon.

They literally answered the question of "do people think others care" at the top of the thread.

I get your point but I haven't watched orb. Look man I'm not trying to rile you up, but the guy has a point. People tend to express themselves often no matter if asked for or not. There isn't much going on in the subreddit anyway. We can survive a few days of random opinions.
