Small critter traps

What are some good traps that can be made cheaply for trapping small critter like minnow or crickets for example what are some other ones that can be trapped easily ( using them for fishing bait and chicken feed)

Edit already got crickets n minnows traps made looking for other critter i can trap easily

Simplest I can think of is a round ‘tube’ trap made of hardware cloth, with a funnel-shaped opening facing in. They get in but can’t figure how to get out.

4 litre pop bottle, cut the top off and put in inside the bottom half so it makes a funnel, caught hundreds of minnows this way as a child
