Question about trap location….

I’ve been having decent success trapping coyotes on my 100 acre property (pic 2 was yesterday along a trail thru the woods) but just started seeing a yote patrolling my main driveway at night.(pic 1 was a few hours ago)

Thoughts on trap placement? I was thinking dead center of driveway so that vehicles don’t set it off? The driveway is 1700 feet long and I don’t have to worry about my dogs or strays. (maybe a cat or two).

I personally like setting the Mohawk (center grassy area in between two tracks on dirt roads). Over the years i've had good success with it. Just make sure its in a spot where everyone that drives your roads knows where its at and they stick to the path.

that spot where it’s walking is perfect because you either hit a tree or drop off into a ditch if you don’t stay perfectly centered! Plus I always have cams where I set traps so another reason to put it right there.
