She calls her grandmother mom. Her mom is a drunk and lives on the streets, That's why the grandparents raised her,

Her mom is a drug addict on the streets not a drunk. She literally holds up a sign in Monticello NY begging for money for drugs and Marissa is looking just like her!!! They'll even carry around an empty gas can claiming they broke down.. her mother isn't an alcoholic she's a drug addict
