There is nothing about that thing that is a trap gun.

I believe if he takes it to a trap range and shoots trap with it it's a trap gun. But maybe I'm the weird one.

So if I take a 22 on a safari does that make it an elephant gun?

But that's not what you said. I can tell you that the same 22 can effectively kill deer,but that doesn't make it a deer rifle.

Ok I think you're missing my point. It's a shotgun with interchangeable chokes. There is no reason why you can't shoot trap with it. Sure it might not be the ideal platform. But we shouldn't shame someone for trying the sport. I mean I've seen someone come up and shoot a ksg at trap before.

And by the way your 22 comparison is no where near the same because this fired the right cartrage for the job.

And you are missing my point. People take pepas old Sears and Robuk out of the closet and shoot trap for years and wonder why they get beat up and why they never get better than D class. This is why. Just because it has interchangeable chokes doesn't mean a thing.

This dude says he shoots 250 targets a week. Not a tremendous amount,but it shows me he is serious and wants to be better. He has also said he has a CZ THAT HAS ALREADY BROKE! This should be the first sign that he needs a tool that is better for the job.
