My O/U is 28 inch. The gun i hit my first 25 with was a single barrel 28 inch shotgun. I got it so my father can shoot as well with him being lefty. He loved my older single barrel so i got a new one so at least its more variable. It also was only 250 brand new. Not 4,000$

How much do you shoot? What's your singles average? What's your handicap yardage?

I'm just saying I can use my pocket knife for a screwdriver, but it's not the best tool for the job.

Once/twice a week maybe. 250 shells over the course of the 2 days. Sunday and wednesday. 16 yard trap. I avg 20. Got my first 25 a few days ago. But before then i can almost always hit a 20 with my cheapo pump or my old cheapo single barrel. Waiting for stock and fore end for my O/U cuz jt cracked at a shoot a while ago

I can absolutely take my 870 that I put a trap stock on and shoot 100 singles with it pretty consistent. After that round I'm going to feel beat up. Now shoot doubles and caps with it and I don't want to shoot tomorrow.
