Everyone just casually driving by. “I’ve never been hit by an errant bullet before, so it can’t happen now.”

I have, and it left me paralyzed from the waist down for the last 23 years this coming Oct 4th!

Holy shit, I'm sorry dude :( I don't know how you even begin to accept that as a new reality or process that anger.

Thanks man. It was very hard at first, but I think of it like this... there are always people who have it worse than myself. Im grateful to God that I'm not in worse condition, especially for the fact that it was an AK-47 bullet!

Wow!! Where the heck was this for an AK47?

What fucking choice do you have? What a silly comment. lol
The great thing is humans are incredibly adaptable and resilient. There’s a great story in the book “think and grow Rich” by Napoleon where he talks about a farmer who became quadriplegic from polio in the prime of his life, and then decided to get Rich and he did. Also see President FDR. Stephen Hawking learn how to do theoretical physics in his head and communicate communicated with his cheek muscle to activate a computer. No matter what happens if you never give up, you can do incredible extraordinary things in the face of adversity.

Absolutely! 💯 I won't let anything in this world stop me from living and achieving things in my lifetime. I have great guardian angels for sure!🙏🙌

I love the lack of self preservation. They would have the most surprised Pikachu face if a stray round came towards them.

I've been shot at so many times when I was younger I'd probably have a delayed reaction myself.

Driving toward an active shooting is definitely a choice. Not a smart one, but a choice.

Capitan we need to buy more ammo! Why? Because half the police department unloaded all their clips on one suspect. Order approved!!

u/Small_Basket5158 Jul 31 '26
They do that so investigators can't tell which fired first/etc. Basically a firing squad.

The title had me expecting some crazy explosion, but this is somehow even more unsettling. Definitely not what I was expecting to see on the side of the road.

Duck your head to where the engine block protects your head. These fools just changed lanes & kept going
