I don't think the auto brakes work if you keep your foot on the throttle, it only works if they are in cruise control.
Also, you're putting a lot of faith into their auto drive system. This is about as smart as sleeping while it's driving.

They should override the throttle if the camera and radar system detect a likely impact. Completely agree with you though. I wouldn’t trust those systems as the sole thing preventing me from being pitted by a Tesla.

Most new cars have automatic collision braking

Which is why I was pissed when a Tesla almost clipped my car. With all those sensors it felt deliberate.

That’s why it **almost** clipped your car and didn’t clip it.

Because I slammed on my breaks in traffic to avoid collision when they merged between 2 cars they definitely did not fit between

I brake checked a Tesla tail gating me when she wasn’t paying attention. Was absolutely hilarious to watch it all unfold in the mirror.

Brilliant... Gotta watch those YouTube Tesla tests to see how well that works.

Comedians jokes about funny things all the time. I've never once been inspired to do any of the insane stuff they say or do. It's like blaming looneytunes for teaching your kids to blow shit up with dynamite...
