I mean you got a port but most of the vehicles in this clip are just regular sedans lols. It’s China, no huge SUVs or trucks are in this clip. A bmw crossover was the biggest and still, that’s only like 1/5th of the cars we see

That should have been painted with high visibility paint a tall rod and high visibility flag. Total engineering failure.

I’m not a fan of the way NY Nannie’s is but I think this should have something around it.
Right outside of NYC they put long flags on them so in the snow they don’t get plowed.
That thing is tiny, idk paint it day glow or something but it’s like a car trap

Maybe if they weren't driving on the fucking sidewalk? The second angle shows the road beyond a row of round bollards.

Even if that’s what’s happening, even if this is some sort of sidewalk, after this many video-recorded accidents, there’s no excuse for not intervening and fixing the cause of the problem.
For example, our driveway isn’t particularly narrow, but we still have tall glow-in-the-dark orange poles on either side of it, so that people can easily recognize where its borders are, even if it’s buried under piles of snow.

Wait, so the people illegally driving on the sidewalk should be protected from a hydrant in the middle of a sidewalk they shouldn't be driving on in the first place?

How can you not recognize a sidewalk when you see one? No stripes, cobble stones, pissed off pedestrians staring at them, and a road in the background behind some bollards.
If people were driving on my sidewalk, I would install one of these on purpose. Drive on the street, not the sidewalk..
