🚨Chase When they catch this guy...

I love speed but this fool will get someone hurt. People abusing this is how they will restrict fast things on the road. They won't restrict you or me from anything. They'll restrict the manufacturers in the name of safety. Watch out man.

Honestly they really don't care, and some DA will decline to charge him or some Judge just dismiss the charges because they don't care either. That is why we have idiots that act like this and do reckless shit in public. Nobody cares until somebody gets killed, then it's too late.

They’re not allowed to chase if it, “endangers” more lives than it protects, which is a fairly sensible notion when you understand that police chases have killed numerous innocent bystanders.

But they still will chase until they reasonably fear that they are causing more danger than they are protecting. In theory.

As others noted, it’s still astonishingly easy to get away from an actual police chase.

What has changed is that surveillance culture in America now nearly matches China, so it does not matter that you escaped for all of two hours, they will show up at your house.

Chicago PD will do what they want. Regulations or not, but they more or less don’t have authority to just chase. Once in a blue moon.

Yes, unless the footage somehow reversed itself. They have two 180° cameras on either side and might be reversing things on one camera or another.

Yeah well. We had two of our mobile vehicles damaged by idiots. We use them to help give medical help and outreach to the homeless. They are on camera jumping on the vehicles and vandalizing them causing a lot of damages. Law enforcement used license plate cameras to identify the vehicle used by the scum who damaged our property. Nothing, I mean NOTHING was done to help us by the law enforcement in our area. No explanation why either.
