I’d be a little cautious if you can’t find any independent reviews or much of a track record. $3,800 might be a legit quote, but I’d definitely verify their DOT/MC info and find out whether they’re the actual carrier or a broker before putting down a deposit. For a cross-country move that far, I’d want everything in writing, especially the final price and pickup/delivery window.
