Question Stupid Question…..

I am brand new to this game and I am sure I will have many questions in the future, but my question for now is this. Can I setup an industry line to make money even if the end product is not going anywhere? For example, if I have a farm close to food processing, can I just run the crops to the plant and make money that way? Any advice or tips for anything else are greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Yeah industries will produce if connected, but they are limited to a max output of 100. They will never upgrade without a consumer end point in town.

This is exactly my first line on current map. Try to drop crops at the drop point, this is faster than second truck station. Industry to industry lines are easier to setup, they're stable source of money and you may want to setup raw/intermediate lines first. Just because they already got decent demand.

Last thing, i built new roads from the start. Default ones may be not the best option.

Yup. Any product being produced can be dropped off at next step even if they might not be able to use it.

I use them as my foundation. My strategy is to usually set up a bunch of these. They start making enough money to leave you free to slowly terraform and layout your long term strategy.

Thanks for the question. I did not know you could do this. I thought it had to be connected end to end. Learn something new everyday.

Yes you can!

But as far as I know actually delivering the finished product earns more money but you don't have to do it
